Brookfield Mansions are situated at the bottom of Highgate West Hill and are on the left-hand side when travelling North from Central London. Grid reference +51° 33′ 41.24″, -0° 9′ 11.74″, see map below.
The Brookfield estate is made up of four blocks, 1-4 and 9-24 (which are adjacent to the hill) and blocks 5-8 and our “Long Block” numbers 25-56 (which are set back and adjoin Hampstead Heath).
Visiting Brookfield using your own transport.
Note that some Sat-Navs will take you to the wrong place. Although our post code is N6 6AT (and number 5 Highgate West Hill), you are advised to use the post code N6 6JS and enter the house number as 4. Parking on the estate is strictly for residents only. Unless your host has agreed to lend you their parking permit (and they park their vehicle elsewhere) you will need to park on the public roads nearby. Local parking is controlled from 10-12 noon Mondays-Friday and traffic wardens patrol the area regularly during these times. Your host may have some parking vouchers for your use.
Travelling by Public Transport.
The Mansions are served by the following transport routes, in all cases the bus stop is called ‘Parliament Hill Fields’ and on most buses will be automatically announced. Both the 88 and the 214 buses pass Kentish Town tube station , whilst the C11 starts near Archway tube station. Both these tube stations are on the Northern Line – High Barnet Branch. Please see location of bus stops below.
- 88 bus from Clapham Common to Parliament Hill Fields
- 214 bus from Finsbury Square to Highgate School in Highgate Village
- C11 bus from Archway to Brent Cross (circular route)
- Gospel Oak Overground station (Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford and Gospel Oak to Barking) is a short walk over the Heath. It is also on the C11 bus route.
On Foot
Please refer to the photos above for access to Blocks via gardens or service road. Access to the gardens from Parliament Hill Fields is only for residents with a key.
Making a delivery to Brookfield Mansions.
The service road entrance is a short way further up the hill in the middle of the first speed bump adjacent to 6 Highgate West Hill. This service road is very narrow and all vehicles larger than a transit van will get stuck or possibly damage residents’ cars. For most vans there is no possibility of turning around in the car park at the end of service road, so they must park in one of the streets nearby.
